Steam generator:

  • steam generating agent: softened or demineralized water;

  • The water-steam-air installation consists of bonding pipes and fittings made of hard-bonded copper and a number of 6 electroventile;

The Steam Sterilizer is the device that performs the operation by which all microorganisms attached on contaminated objects, including bacterial spores, are destroyed. The result of which is the sterility state when coming into contact with human body tissues or penetrates tissues including the normally sterile vascular system. Examples: surgical instruments, dental instruments, suture material, birth attendance kits, operating room staff, operating fields, swabs and buffers, drainage tubes, implants, needles and syringes, cardiac and urinary catheters, for hemodialysis, all intravascular devices, flexible or rigid endoscopes used in invasive procedures, endoscopy-associated biopsy equipment, acupuncture needles, those used in neurology; these devices must be sterilized. Steam Sterilizers must comply with Community legislation on reforters in Medical Devices.

 

The steam sterilizer is equipped with a microprocessor temperature controller with the following features:

  • a measuring chain that allows the temperature to be measured directly in the enclosure wall of the temperature reached in different phases of the process. Its utility is to see the temperature dynamics of the solution in real time, depending on the pressure inside the mold and the thickness of the mold wall;
  • shelf life: adjustable;
  • self-protection (defective thermoresistance, overtemperature);
  • acoustic alarm at the end of the cycle and in case of failure / fault in operation;

The electrical and automation installation comprises electrical heating resistors, their control elements and electrovalvils, as well as level, pressure and temperature transducers, time programmer and pressure control; The automation system will protect the machine from starting the work cycle if the steam sterilizer's door is not completely closed and properly locked;
