SC Caloris Group SA is a private Romanian firm founded 1991. Through continuous efforts it became more and more present on the Romanian medical and laboratory equipment market. In 1999, through increasing its capital and extending its field of activity it became a joint-stock company.
Since June 2001 the company is ISO 9001 certified.
The company employs 45 people and has a departmental organization as follows: research, design, production, marketing, sales and service. As a result of a better market research and enlargement of its range of products the company is expending continuously.
The main categories of equipment designed, manufactured and commercialized by Caloris Group are:
- furnaces for heating treatment,
- furnaces for dental laboratories (including casting machines),
- furnaces for calcinations of organics in laboratories,
- ovens for drying and sterilizing of glassware, instruments and media,
- incubators,
- thermostatic baths,
- electro-thermal Soxhlet heating mantles,
- Kjeldahl digestion units,
- sand blasters,
- hospital furniture,
- data acquisition system for the monitoring of working parameters in laboratories.
Our main activities are:
- design and manufacturing of electronic systems and equipments for all our products,
- electronic research and design on demand for various applications,
- software development,
- design and manufacturing of all mechanic parts, system and equipments for our products,
- market research and sales,
- research activities in co-operation with Romanian research institutes within national research projects from which the firm benefits through gaining experience and obtaining designs for new products to complete the already existing range.
Policy on EU enlargements requires that Romania prepares for integration, environmental aspects included.
